Trainer Charges
Daily Coaching/Rail Fee:
County or ‘A’ Rated Shows …..……………………………………………. $70/day

* There is a minimum coaching charge that applies if less than 3 horses attending. It will vary depending on location, situation, and class times.
Show Set Up/Tear Down:
Pays for equipment haul, stall and tack room set up, storage trailer,
gas and delivery of trailer, and the labor costs for entire set up.
Local One-Day Show Set up ………………………………………………… $30
Local Multi-Day Show Set up ….…………………………………………… $100
Non-local Multi-Day Show Set up ………………………………………… $100 + gas
*$400 minimum to be split between horses if less than 4 attending
Show Supplies Fee:
Includes basic supplies such as shampoo, flyspray, show sheen, hoof oil, poultice, hoof packing, ice boots, etc and to recoup costs of fridge, freezer, tent, and all show related equipment

Show Prep:
Arranging & meeting hauler, wrapping, and entries ………………. $20
Grooming Charges
Daily Grooming:
Includes AM/PM feed & clean, lunging, bathing, ice, wrapping, tacking services when available, administering meds and supplements, daily Bemer treatments, and braid ripping
Single Day County Shows………… $60
Multi Day County Shows………… $70/day
‘A’ Rated Shows……………………… $75/day
(Royal Oak pays this to the grooms. Price is subject to the going rate set by grooms + insurance)
Non-Local Shows:
There will be additional trainer/grooms expenses such as lodging, food per diem, gas, travel, etc. this will be split per horse.
Additional charges that may apply:
Examples – Special Medications or Supplements such as Prefect Prep, GastroGuard, or Banamine, Night Watch, Equipment purchased for horse such as stall fan during heat wave or Ice boots for injury. Also, charges may apply for Overtime (applies when classes are spread more than 8 hours apart or horse requires more than 60 minutes of trainer riding prep due to behavior)
– Before your horse leaves for a show ALL necessary checks must be present.
– If Royal Oak has to advance funds to cover a missing check a $75 fee will apply
– If you cancel your participation in a show you may still be responsible for some of the pre-paid/pre-ordered charges.
– The horse haulers will transport 1 tack trunk per horse for multi-day shows. If you are hauling your own horse you must also be responsible for your tack trunk.
– In an effort to also service those clients that elect to stay home during a show, not every instructor will be available for every show.
